This is an instructional program for girls in grades 1st through 5th.

They meet only on Sundays, no practices through the week.

All meetings will take place at the Adams County Service Complex on the following Sundays:

  • Feb. 5, 12, 19, 26
  • March 4, 11

Each of the sessions listed below have a limit of 30 girls. Register Early!

The schedule will be as follows: (Times are subject to change due to number of participants signed up in each category)

1st - 3rd grade girls basics  1:30 - 2:20 p.m.

*If you are a 3rd grader and this is your first experience in organized volleyball, sign up for this session.

4th - 5th grade girls basics  2:30 - 3:20 p.m.

*If you are a 4th or 5th grader and this is your first experience in organized volleyball, sign up for this session.

3rd - 5th grade girls advanced  3:30 - 4:20 p.m.

*If you are a 3rd, 4th or 5th grader and and you have been through a past Parks & Rec. Volleyball Instructional league or have been part of an organized volleyball group, sign up for this session.

 

Fee: $33.00 (includes a t-shirt)

Basics: Learn the basic fundamentals of volleyball. Simple passing, serving, hitting and setting skills and games will be taught and played.

Advanced: More complex fundamentals and games of volleyball will be taught and played. Participant must have volleyball experience to be in the "Advanced" session.

Providing young people in the Decatur and North Adams Community School System the opportunity to participate in a team sport while having fun developing "fun"damental basketball skills.

This is an instructional and recreational league.

There are no practices through the week they just meet on the dates listed below which are on Sundays, to learn some fundamentals of basketball and to have a short scrimmage and have fun.

Registration will begin on May 1, 2012 for our fall soccer league; sign up and pay by 4:00p.m. on Friday May 28 and only pay $25.00. After May 25 the fee will be $40.00. Our Soccer League serves all children beginning as young as (must be enrolled in and attend kindergarten in the fall of 2012) and as old as the 8th grade. Deadline to register will be July 6, 2012 by 4:00p.m.
Office hours are:

8:00a.m. to 7:00p.m. Monday thru Thursday

and on Fridays from 8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m.
Games are played on Saturdays beginning Sept.8, 2012 and ending October 20, 2012 between 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Games are played at Homestead, Worthman Field, Bellmont High School, Adams Central, and South Adams.

Fees
$25.00 - Must sign up and pay by May 25, 2012
$40.00 - Beginning May 26, 2012

***ADDITIONAL CHARGES:

****If parents/guardians order the wrong T-Shirt size there will be an additional charge of $8.00 for a new shirt.

**** There will also be an additional charge of $5.00  for switching teams because you do not want the coach of the team that your child has been placed on.

**** All extra charges must be paid in advance.

After the July 6th deadline registrations will only be accepted in those divisions where space is available (including volunteering to coach) and there will be a $10.00 late fee per child added and requests will no longer be honored.


Volunteer to Coach
Receive a discount of $20.00 if a parent volunteers to coach -- $ 20.00 rate applies to only the child you will be coaching. Must sign up by July 6th to receive the discount.

after the July 6 the fee will be $30.00.

Our soccer program can only be run with the help of Great Volunteers!  Please take a few minutes to think about this opportunity you have to make a difference in the children's lives.  What an awesome thing, to touch a child's life in a positive manner in today's society.  

Help us keep those costs down.  Remember, without volunteer coaches and officials, our soccer fee would be increased in order to provide coaches and officials.
