Family Friendly Spring Break Activities

Brochures are now available at the Riverside Center, the Fitness Center at the Service Complex, the Adams Public Library, area schools and you can also go to kidzone to check the schedule of activities.

Swim Coupons

The coupons will be good for any Parks & Recreation pool event (with the exception of swim lessons) including aquatics and lap swim at Bellmont, Adams Central and the Decatur City Pool.

The coupon books cost $15.00 for a book of 10 coupons. The coupons will be good for 1 person per coupon per visit. The coupons are good for 1 year and will expire December 31, 2012. The coupons will be available for purchase at any of the aquatics classes, the Decatur City Pool (during open season) and the Parks & Recreation Office at Riverside Center @231 E. Monroe St. Decatur.

Open Family Swim March 11 at Bellmont High School Pool. Time: 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Fee: $2.00 per person or 1 swim coupon per person. click on swimming for more info. click on swimming for more info.

Registration for swim lessons begins April 3 for Adams County Residents and April 5 for non Adams County Residents.

The Decatur-Adams County Parks & Recreation Dept. is announcing that Walking at Bellmont Middle School has started. The track is open to ADULTS ONLY (9th grade and above). NO CHILDREN (8th grade and below) are allowed on the track or in the gym area. For your safety, NO STROLLERS are allowed on the track. See Posted Walking RULES AND REGULATIONS. The track will be open for walking on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 too 8:00 p.m. You may also walk Mon. thru Fri. from 11 to 11:45am. Walking will end Thursday  March 22.
