Teen Dream Pillows |
| |
These pillows are made for TEEN patients at Riley Hospital for Children. You might also consider donating them to your local hospital, fire department or police department. The pillows will help brighten hospital rooms of ill teenagers. These will be distributed only to the teens so the fleece pattern should be geared toward their age group.
Use a 16" pillow form. The pillow form must be non-allergenic and washable.
Cut fleece 22" x 22".
Cut fringe on the edges 1" wide x 3" deep.
With right sides of fabric facing the outside place the two pieces together and begin tying the fringe in knots. Begin by tying the least stretchy side first.
When you have three sides tied, insert the pillow form and tie the final side.
IEHA labels can be sewn on pillows before tying the fringe. Please make sure all four sides of the label are well sewn and secure. |
